Hobby saw for very small projects. Let me stress that this is a saw for making precise cuts in very thin materials. Good for doll house furniture or model train structures. But, I bought this saw because I already had one. It just needed a new blade. A new blade cost $35, while this saw, complete with a carbide tipped blade, only cost $37.
Fun I love miniature. I was amazed to find a table saw this small. It does power down pretty quickly, but if you take your time and go slowly it gets the job done. I discovered I could lower the table or raise the blade and it may have made a difference in the bog down. I will do that on my next project. For the money it was great and the company [True Power] has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time.
Mini Table saw Nice little hobby saw. Does great in thin and softer woods; it’s not meant to cut 1×4’s.Since it is a “niche” item, blades for it are hard to find, and types available are limited. The blade and table combination are meant to only cut right angles, but I guess you can’t expect more for the price. So far, so good, but don’t expect it to do the work of its $100+ rivals. It is a sturdy little saw at a good price.
