This thing is AWESOME!!!! I love this saw. Just used it to cut open a hole in a wall for a new in wall cabinet install. Before I would have had to use a drywall knife and reciprocating saw and taken a lot of time. This bad boy cut threw everything like butter and I was done with a nice straight line in a few minutes. I also tried it to rip a few sheets of plywood and the motor is strong enough to cut it no problem. Customer Video Review Length:: 0:41 Mins Laser made it for me. I needed something that I can take with me to do small jobs and don’t roll out the extension cord. I was also hoping that I can use this battery in my Dewalt tools – without some internal modification – you cannot. the GND contact is in the wrong place. The battery has charge indicator like expensive dewalts. Don’t know how accurate it is – have not run out of battery yet.
Takes TWO Hands to Start Saw – Cannot Grip Work Piece Because of the grip design and switch placement, it takes TWO hands to start this saw, one to hold the spring operated safety button in, and another to activate the start switch. On other power tools one can typically easily operate the safety switch with the thumb and the start switch with the index finger ……both at the same time.
