It’s not a contractor saw, it’s a fine woodworking saw. I’ve owned this saw for a while now and I use it every day in my cabinet shop. It’s nice having a 36″ rip capacity and I’d say that’s the minimum you’ll need when doing cabinets.Let’s go over the problems with the saw first:1. The blade insert is crap and has a rubbery feel to it. It’s pretty much just falling apart with how much I use it. good value, but Ive had this saw for 2 weeks now. Very accurate and the saw itself is excellent quality and manufacturing. Very easy to set up I did it by myself in (2) hours. I bought a shop fox mobile base along with my purchase which helps tremendously. The only complaint I have about the g0661 is the steel base isnt as stiff and rugged as I would have liked. Overall Id recommend a grizzly saw to anyone in the market for such a thing.
