Perfect for Home and on the Job I recently bought a 12-inch Dewalt Compound miter saw (DWS780) and needed a stand for it. Amazon Tools Customer Service recommended the DWX724 as did my son who owns one as well. Based on their recommendations, I purchased the 724 model and am delighted with it for a number of reasons.First, it is compact, measuring just 8 inches x 43 inches when folded. Improved on the original I had the original full size and loved the sturdiness of it, and how well it supports the material. But I didn’t like the weight and length of it. This new version solves the only issues I had with it.The carry handle is easier to get to.The Legs fold down easier with the new locking handle.The size is better (personal preference)The weight is a bit lighter as well.I can’t really say there is any cons to this new version, but I do wish it was lighter…
Great DeWalt Stand I like this stand better the the most common one that extends to 110″ because I do not need one that big. This one is smaller, more compact, lighter, and yet it still extends. But don’t like that it costs the same. Oh well that is supply and demand.
