The best 6″ sander I’ve used! The Metabo SXE 450 TurboTec 350 Watt Electronic Disc Sander is a pleasure to use. I’m a builder and have used various brands of sanders and this is the best so far. The vibration when sanding is very low and easy on the carpel tunnel. It quickly eats through rough wood with the option of 1/8″ or 1/4″ rotation. The dust collection is excellent until you drop it and break the filter door (which has happened to 3 out of 4 of our sanders. Once you start duct taping the door shut it never seems…

Awesome Sander! This is a very low-noise sander with minimal vibration. It makes a super-smooth finish on wood. I had a Dewalt sander previously, the Metabo is MUCH better. Well worth the additional cost.
