Outstanding! this is a major leap forward for ROS sanders.i researched and read various reviews of ROS sanders. this new bosch set received glowing reports from professionals (you can find some on youtube). well, those accolades are very well deserved.overall sanding performance is exceptional, from heavy removal to fine sanding, with both the 5-inch and 6-inch pads.the anti-vibration system is a major breakthrough and dramatically reduces hand fatigue, to a degree that…

Expected more… Given all the hype surrounding Bosch’s new vibration-damping system, and the premium price, I was expecting great things from this tool! Ultimately, however, I was disappointed. Vibration isn’t terrible, but it’s definitely there. Might be better than your average 6″ sander…by a smidgen. If you’re looking for a beefy 6″ random-orbit sander that’s going to be as comfortable to use as a 5″ random-orbit palm sander (ex: my old Porter-Cable 333VS), this isn’t it.My other big complaint…

Good sander I like the sander. It has no noticeable vibration. With my makita ROS I would have a sore arm/shoulder within an hour of sanding. With this bosh I cross over 3 hours of sanding session and no pain/numbness.IT FEELS VERY HEAVY!!!Great on panels. it does leave very little dust behing. on smaller size lumber like rail and stile I would still reach for the makita. The bosch is just too heavy to controll properly.
