Have used this product for 20 years. Have used to smooth painted surfaces in older homes we’ve restored. Wear a dust mask & eye protection. Works well with a variable speed drill with a low rpm. Keep it moving across surface. Paper itself is not the cheapest, but not prone to tearing either. Expect high performance from a 3M product & am not disappointed here.
You never know when you will need one. It works as expected. I am using it in a drill press to do some sanding and it works great.
