  1. staple size Just got makita at2550a stapler for christmas so haven’t had much time to use it but it works..I ordered some extra staples from another website and I discovered that 1 inch wide crown staples are not all the same..Stanley Bostich staples are too narrow to fit this stapler..You must use SENCO PW200, Hitaschi N5024a and similar staples. B&C Eagle SDW-1 staples will fit..Hope you find this helpful…Chucke

  2. Preferred over the Hitachi I own this and the Hitachi. I hog this one and let the guys use the Hitachi. They both are good guns but this one is better because it doesn’t have the chinchzy plastic staple holding rail. It is a much smoother Bump nailer and has an air hook. Between the two guns we have shot over 60,000 staples with ZERO problems. Overall, i would recommend this very highly.
