Sturdy gun This nail gun is rugged and takes a beating from my crew daily. Two perks on this nail gun are the joist clip and being able to pull the head back to shoot a rogue nail. The clip saves the gun from from being dropped all day, works on rafters too( depending on pitch). The rogue nail feature is great when you need to just tack something quick. Adjustable head makes for easy nail depth adjustment from 12’s to 8’s.

Don’t waste your time I’m a big fan of DeWalt tools and despite mixed reviews I went ahead and ordered D51850 nailer. What a disappointment. It died after sinking two nails, the air started leaking around the trigger, ..so no framing work done this weekend. I remember reading about this problem with other DeWalt model so this must be pretty common issue. I like the feel, and the look of this nailer. For those who are willing to take the chance and order this one, it had no problem sinking 3 1/2″ nails. I’m not…
