Weighing only 2.7 pounds, the Stanley Bostitch BT1855K 18-gauge brad nailer has a tough new industrial design, and is great for a variety of finish and trim applications. With a storage capacity of 100 brads, this tool will drive 5/8-inch to 2-1/8-inch 18-gauge brad nails and is loaded with great features. The tool’s weight and balance are complemented by an over-molded grip to help maximize comfort and minimize fatigue during overhead applications or prolonged use. The BT1855K has an oil-free design that requires no maintenance and prevents stains on work surfaces. The swivel air fitting with filtered air inlet increases maneuverability and improves engine durability. The selectable trigger system allows for easy conversion between sequential or contact modes. Additionally, the BT1855K features a dial-a-depth control for quick countersinking adjustments and a low fastener lockout that prevents dry fire and alerts the user when it’s time to reload. The ultra-quiet rear exhaust directs air away from the user and the reversible belt hook with integrated pencil sharpener allows for ultimate convenience on the job site. The BT1855K is an excellent choice for interior and exterior trim, cabinetry, furniture, and crafts.

This is a excellent brad nailer, enough people have said nice things about it, I’m really writing to make one warning:I’m actually on my second unit, the first was destroyed by one of my guys who apparently didn’t clear a jam properly. I’ve only ever had it jam one time in my own hand after maybe 6-7K shots, and it only jammed because of a screw behind the molding. But when this thing jams, wow is it a hell of a jam.If the jam occurs with a brad partially through the…

Good consistent nailer I ordered this product for a weekend home improvement exterior trim project and it was a great time saver. I got both this item and the 16 Ga nail gun at the same time. This one has the better design for loading the nails, although the other nail gun’s nail size is better for sturdier exterior fastening. This 18 Ga gun is probably best for interior trim work. A window in the cassette to help see the size nails or when you are close to running out (prior to climbing to the top of a…
