I will never buy Ryobi ever again! I have done constuction most of my life. I have never used a crappier tool than this. I purchased this to replace my Milwakee (which the reostat went out so only had one speed, still worked better than this piece of garbage). I had only 12 1/2 inch holes to drill about 4 inches deep. I was putting in anchor bolts on the bottom plate of a long section of railing. The bit would not go more than an inch through the slab more than half the holes i tried to drill. I thought i might have been hitting…

NOT long lasting I bought this drill because it was cheap and I do not need a hammer drill often, This drill was happy drilling through masonary block. But when I got to drilling through Brick the hammer action deadened out and the drill became ineffective. Also I found the handle had to be really tightened strongly or it would come loose. The whole construction seems a bit shoddy. I was so angry because it died in the middle of the second job I did with it. I did not have time to wait for a replacement so…
