I purchased this drill for light home use and for the price it is great. No complaints. Arrived very quickly and looks great, does the job.

I was told that with the cord I would get a better item. The one I had stopped working completely. It had a battery to it and it just stopped working, even when I plugged the cord into the wall. I needed something that would last for a very long time and would be ready when I needed to use it. Not wanting to wait for it to be charged, I was told to try one with the cord that plugs straight into the way and is ready at time that I needed to use it. So far, so good.

its okay – BUT – the variable speed is not very smoothyou pull on the trigger just a little and it will start up just rightat slow, but it you go to increase the speed – it takes offand you strip out the head of the screw.would be okay just for drill bits.if this is their replacement for the old yellow/orange drill – thenthey are going to lose a customer.
